The National Federation of the Blind of Maryland is the Maryland state affiliate of the National Federation of the Blind. We are changing what it means to be blind in Maryland! Every day we raise the expectations of blind people, because low expectations create obstacles between blind people and our dreams. We are accepting dues for 2026. Individuals interested in paying chapter and division dues may do so in one of two ways: 1. Pay dues online; or 2. send a physical check to the chapter or division treasurer.

The National Federation of the Blind of Maryland (NFBMD) is thrilled to administer the John T.  McCraw Scholarship Program for Academic Year 2026-2027.   The Program will award up to four individual scholarships of $4,000 each.  These scholarships will be given to qualified blind students who exhibit academic achievement, community involvement, and leadership.
