2023 Legislative Priorities

In 2023, the NFB of Maryland has the following legislative priorities at the State level:

• SB 0488 / SB 0645: Feasibility of an Electronic Online Ballot Return System for Maryland

• Appropriation for the Center of Excellence in Nonvisual Access (CENA) to Education, Public Information, and Commerce

• SB 0535 / HB 0608: Protecting the rights of service animal and guide dog users

• SB 940  /HB 0456: Availability of Accessible Prescription Labels for the Blind and Print Disabled
