Notes:

  • The 2023 NFBMD Business Meeting will take place virtually via Zoom.  We will conduct our constitutionally required and other time sensitive business at this meeting, but many of our traditional work and activities will take place at the 2023 – 2024 combined affiliate convention from February 16 – 18, 2024 at the Sheraton Baltimore North Hotel in Towson.  Information about and registration for the convention is available at https://nfbmd.org/convention.
  • Anyone may attend the Business meeting who wishes to do so.
  • Only individuals who both registered for the Business Meeting and paid 2023 dues on or before November 1, 2023 are eligible to vote, make motions, and/or speak on the floor.
  • We will be holding our Bake and Experience Auction throughout the business meeting.  This will be a live auction done by voice on Zoom.  Successful bidders are asked to pay for their items via Zelle (President@nfbmd.org), PayPal (President@nfbmd.org or via the Donate button on the website), or check (payable to NFB of Maryland, 1800 Johnson Street, Suite N1, Baltimore, MD 21230).  Please  send payments by November 15, 2023.  Items will not be sent out until payment is received.
  • We will be conducting our Time of Sharing during the business meeting.  This will be live by voice, but individuals may also email in pledges to President@nfbmd.org.  Individuals are asked to fulfill their pledges via Zelle (President@nfbmd.org), PayPal (President@nfbmd.org or via the Donate button on the website), or check (payable to NFB of Maryland, 1800 Johnson Street, Suite N1, Baltimore, MD 21230).  Please  send payments by December 31, 2023. 
  • We ask participants to engage with one another with dignity and respect and remind all to abide by the NFB Code of Conduct and all other NFB and NFB of Maryland policies. 
  • The Board of Directors of the NFB of Maryland extends its gratitude to those who are supporting our technology, logistics, and other operational needs for this session.  We are also grateful to our membership for your work and dedication throughout the year to ensuring that Maryland’s blind can live the life we want.
