WHEREAS the National Federation of the Blind of Maryland
has regularly published the Braille Spectator during the last two years; and
WHEREAS this newsletter has been distributed to the membership at Chapter meetings; and
WHEREAS the Braille Spectator includes much material that is of interest to the casual members as well as the most active ones; and
WHEREAS this newsletter also includes material that would be of interest to individuals in various communities throughout the State and to the public media: Now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the National Federation of the Blind of Maryland in Convention assembled on this 28th day of October 1978 in the City of Baltimore, Maryland that the editor of the Braille Spectator, in cooperation with the officers of this organization, take steps to distribute the Braille Spectator to all members who wish to receive it; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that strong efforts be made to produce
a recorded edition of this newsletter as well as the print edition; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that circulation of this newsletter be expanded to include various individuals who are not members of, but in various capacities, are close to and interested in the work of this organization.
