HB 592/SB 607 was enacted into law in 2000. It provides non-visual access to information technology and information technology services used in Maryland state government. In 2018, Maryland General Assembly enacted HB 1088/SB 286. These laws outline procurement procedures to ensure that the state can determine that it really purchased information technology and information technology services that are accessible to all users.
